What is the lifespan of neon LED signs?
The lifetime of flexible LED neon is estimated to be 40,000 hours or 4 years of light. We can say that with normal use the neon can last 6 to 10 years. Over time LED's will fade to a gentle light until they no longer light up. Sometimes the power supply stops working first, it can be replaced to extend the lifetime of the sign.
What do prices depend on?
The price of a custom sign depends on 1) the size of the sign, 2) the total length of the neon LED wire, and 3) the number of individual pieces. In the case of the inscription, the font plays a big role. Therefore, to calculate the price of a sign, we need to see a sketch/image/inscription with a specific font. If you do not have an example of the desired font, we can offer you several of our options. Price calculation is free, so feel free to ask!
How much does the delivery cost?
We provide free delivery throughout Latvia. On average, delivery takes 1-3 working days from the end of production. We use DPD, Omniva and Fedex services. For shipping to other countries, please contact +371 25 118 870 or info@underneon.eu.
Do you have a multicolor neon LED option?
Yes, we have RGB LED, which is a combination of 3 LEDs in just one package: Red, Green and Blue. RGB LED signs can produce almost any color by combining those three colors, and you can switch between them easily, using your phone.
How much does RGB signs cost?
RGB signs are on average 2-2.5 times more expensive than single-color signs. Please contact us for the RGB sign price calculation.
What is the difference between LED neon and classic neon?
One of the benefits of LED neon is the cost savings it provides. Because it runs on a far lower voltage than traditional neon, it's much more energy-efficient and costs around 20% less to run. Another factor to consider is that LED neon signs require almost no maintenance, meaning you shouldn't have to spend money on repairing or replacing components.
Moreover, LED neon is safer and more environmentally friendly than traditional neon. LED neon has no need for potentially toxic gases or mercury. Neon signage, on the other hand, contains a very small amount of mercury, which they use to generate the particular colour of light.
In LED neon, compared to traditional glass neon, everything is controllable using digital drivers (e.g. dimmers, switch, controller with motion/sound sensor, etc). When connected to a sign, these devices are able to tell the LEDs what effect to display, whether it's changing colour, strobing or dimming and brightening. We provide for an additional fee (5 EUR) the installation of a dimmer that can change the brightness of the sign and turn it on/off without removing the plug from the socket.
